Resort or No Resort

Your honeymoon is the perfect opportunity to go to an exotic location that you’ve always wanted! Do you go all-inclusive resort or stick to setting everything up on your own?

Going all-inclusive is a great way couples plan on saving money on their honeymoon. They pay one lump sum at the beginning of the trip, so they do not have to think about money the rest of the honeymoon. Activities, such as snorkeling and fancy dinners, are often included. Awesome!

While all-inclusive resorts have prepaid, preplanned activities, there is usually not a lot of room for exploring and sometimes you even have to take a bus to get off of the resort property and mingle with the locals selling souvenirs. For well-traveled couples, it can be a bit of a shock when you realize you are not immersed in the culture like you may have hoped.

When choosing a honeymoon destination, make sure you both will enjoy the trip! Wherever you go, the vacation is sure to be exciting with your new spouse!
